There was always a debate between Sunni and Shia Muslims
There was always a debate between Sunni and Shia Muslims. The debate was basically rotating around the theology of Islam. This tension extended to the political sphere from the very beginning. The Persians (Iran) were defeated politically by Islam, but their pride prevented them from accepting Islam as a complete code in all spheres of their lives. Many scholars say Iran chose Shia ideology as it was an opportunity for them to form a new form of ideology under the shadow of Islam, which would be a combination of pre-Islamic Persian civilizational and Islamic elements. So, this ideological difference between Shia and other Sunni Muslims affected the political sphere as well. As there was disbelief between them, Shia always preferred to choose other Shia groups as their ally. We experienced such a tendency after the Iran Revolution in 1979. This tendency has not been changed until the snow started to melt between Iran and Hamas. This alliance became stronger after the death of Qasem Soleimani. This alliance between Hamas and Iran is unprecedented; similarly, it has shown that an alliance between Shia and Sunni is possible in cases of political interest. We have experienced two kinds of scenarios in Iran: one is in Syria and Iraq, and another is with Hamas. We have seen how they backed Bashar Al Asad’s government and killed thousands of innocent Sunni Muslims ruthlessly in Iraq and Syria, which was the continuation of their legacy of enmity against Sunni Muslims, and on the other hand, how they were supporting Hamas in the October 2007 War. We hope they will not betray Palestinians and continue their support for innocent Muslims in our holy land. The way Israel massacred and committed genocide in Palestine and the way they threaten the world community are just replicas of their history, which Allah mentioned in the Quran repeatedly. At the same time, the avoidance of Sunni countries in the Middle East like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Lebanon, and other countries indicates their collaboration with Western countries to divide the Ottoman Caliphate and their betrayal of the Ummah concept of Islam. No doubt, Palestine will be free, but at the cost of the lives of innocent Muslims.
